I interviewed Mike Boggs recently during a recent Live [tag-tec]Prospecting[/tag-tec] Call. In that interview, I asked Mike what it takes in terms of [tag-tec]MLM[/tag-tec] Lead prospecting activity to actually sign up people up into business. The following video/audio is Part 3 of that interview.

What sorts of things should a person track when working MLM or business opportunity [tag-tec]leads[/tag-tec]?

A person should track…
* The number of dials they make each day
* The number of people they contact
* The number of people that answer the phone
* The number of interviews they hold
* The number of follow-up appointments they set

What I’ve identified for my team is what I call MMAC. That’s…
* Monitor.
* Maintain.
* Adjust.
* Control.

Every time someone picks up the phone, a person should make a tick mark on their notepad. That counts as a contact. It doesn’t matter what happens. Maybe the person hangs up the phone. Maybe they scream at you. It doesn’t matter. It’s a tick mark.

There should be another set of tick marks to count the number of follow-up appointments that are set. Those appointments should happen with an upline on the telephone.

Next a person should make another tick mark for those people that actually show up for the follow-up appointment on the second call.

And then of the people that showed up for the 2nd call, add a tick mark for how many of those went into your business.

It doesn’t matter if the person came in as a customer or business builder. Sometimes your customer will become your best business builder.
