“Where did you get my name?”
There are a number of ways you can answer that question. They include responses like…
“Well, you were online at (fill in the time and day here) and you filled out a form requesting information…”
“I bought your name from a company – MLMLeads.com – It looks like you filled out their online form requesting information…”
I can tell you that both responses will yield zero results. Don’t believe me? Try them and see.
The best way to answer that question is as follows:
“Actually (prospect’s name), I’ve had your name for some time now. It looks like some time in the past you were on one of my websites. I apologize that it’s taken me so long to get back to you but I’ve been extremely busy.
“So help me out here in the interest of time (prospect’s name). I don’t want to waste your time and I don’t want to waste mine. Are you serious about making money from home? Or not?”
Why does this answer work?
It works for several reasons:
* It provides an answer to the prospect’s question.
* It tells the prospect you’re not attached to the outcome of this call. You can take it or leave it.
* It puts focus back on the prospect. Either they’re looking to make money from home or they’re not. Which is it?
