This article describes mlm lead prospecting emails, mlm lead and mlm leads. Want your prospects and MLM distributors to receive your emails? Read this article.

It used to be that when it came to sending emails out to prospects or your MLM distributors, that all you had to worry about was whether your email was delivered to ISPs like AOL and Yahoo.  While that’s still true, now you have to worry about delivery to Gmail.com.

Gmail.com is becoming a player in the email space.  And with all the Google apps and phones being developed, their sphere of influence over email is ever increasing.  So take note when you send your mail. Better yet, test your emails to your Gmail account to ensure that your list will receive your emails.

Why This Article Was Written.

Last week I sent out a couple of emails telling my lists about a conference call that was to be held.  The call was hosted by http://www.mlmtrafficgeyser.com/ and it described how to generate local and national traffic to your MLM lead capture pages.

Whenever I send out an email from my personal autoresponder, I typically test the email to my personal account and my yahoo.com account.  But this time I included a test to my gmail.com account.  While I received my local and yahoo.com emails, I didn’t receive my email at gmail.com.

That got me concerned.

I thought that if I wasn’t getting the email at gmail.com, then neither were a lot of people on my list.  So I did some testing to see exactly what “would” be delivered to gmail.

Here is the original message that went undelivered to my Gmail account:

Subject:  [FIRSTNAME], Did You Miss Out?..

Hello [FIRSTNAME],

This email is for those that missed last week’s call.

We had a great call last week.  We covered all the ways
that you can generate your own leads.  And we outlined a
way that you could do the same; both nationally and locally.

If you missed the MLMTrafficGeyser call last week,
then today is your lucky day.  I posted the call at the
website below.  I broke the call into a playlist of
audios.  That way you can hear the topics that interest you
the most.

Again, that email message was NOT delivered to my gmail account.

As I said, that message was not posted into my Gmail account.  It didn’t bounce.  It just went undelivered.  Go figure.  So I changed the email up slightly to see if that would matter…

Here is the modified message that was finally delivered to my Gmail inbox:

You’ll notice two things that were done with the original email:

1) The revised email  purposely misspelled several words using an apostrophe. For example, “MLMTrafficGeyser” became “M’L’M Traffic Ge’yser”, “leads” became “l’eads” and “Entrepreneurs” became “E’ntrepreneurs” instead.

2) The URL “http://www.mlmtrafficgeyser.com/” became ” replaced with a “Puny” URL.  (Puny URL – this is a Firefox browser add-on that allows you to take a URL and shorten it with a Puny URL instead.)

These are small details that one would think would not matter.  But they mattered to Gmail.

So, what is the take away lesson?

Today’s take away lesson is that you need to be very careful about what you say in your email if you want that email to go delivered.  That’s especially true for email to Gmail.

It used to be that ISPs like AOL and Yahoo were the ones you had to worry about when it came to email delivery.  Not anymore.  With all the apps that Google has developed, they are becoming more and more of an email player.  So take note when you send your mail. Better yet, test your emails to your Gmail account to ensure that your list will receive your emails.

This article described mlm lead, mlm leads and mlm lead prospecting emails. Pay close attention to the words and links you post in your email messages if you want your email delivered. This is especially true when sending emails to Gmail accounts from autoresponder services.
